About the community building

At LaFontaine Lions, our mission is to provide resources to support our community. The Lions club owns and operates the LaFontaine Community Building as a location for family gatherings, events or for use by various groups.

Facility

The facility offers a heated/air conditioned space. Rental includes use of 20 tables and 130 metal folding chairs. There are two bathrooms and it is handicap accessible.

Kitchen

There is also a kitchen area available for use that provides access to two stoves and two refrigerators for basic food preparation along with serving window.

NOTICE: The LaFontaine Community Building is a non-smoking property and that the providing or serving of alcoholic beverages at rental events is strictly prohibited.

How do I get access to the building?

There is a key box located on the building on the west side. next to the double doors. The evening before your rental you will be sent the code via text message.

The key box has a weather-proof cover - pull down on it to open.

To open the key box: Press down on the clear button (at bottom), type the code you were given and then press down on the open arrow (at top).

To close the key box: Press down on the clear button (at bottom), type the code and the press down on the open arrow.

Please make sure to close the weatherproof cover on the key box.

What about cancellations?

Cancellations made at least 30 days before your scheduled rental are eligible for a refund. You may reschedule your event up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date; however, rescheduled events are not eligible for a refund.
